The summer market is heating up. It’s no secret the last few months have been hard on everyone and with that postponed our typical spring market cycle. Slowly but surely, life is returning to some level of normal.Some sellers who were ready to list in March had put off selling. The market is stressed for inventory and here is what sellers who are on the fence need to know:
- buyer traffic is ramping up
- mortgage rates are at historic lows
- 56% of homes that sold in April were on the market for a month or less (NAR)
- low inventory and high buyer demands is recreating bidding wars
- eager buyers are acting
- 5.9% week over week rise in homes being listed for sale (zillow)
- buyer demand remains strong in all 50-states(NAR)
